How to Export a 4K Tweet Screenshot
TwitterShots now supports 4K PNG exports for tweet screenshots. In the screenshot editor, open Display Settings, set Export Quality to 4K (auto scale), then select Export.
How to save a tweet screenshot in 4K
- Open TwitterShots and paste the URL of the public Twitter or X post you want to capture.
- In the screenshot editor, choose your theme, background, and aspect ratio.
- Expand Display Settings and find Export Quality.
- Select 4K (auto scale), then select Export to download the PNG. For a multi-image export, use its ZIP export control.
The editor remembers your Export Quality selection for future screenshots in the same browser.
What 4K changes
The 4K option increases the PNG resolution while keeping the screenshot layout and chosen aspect ratio. It scales the preview so the longest edge is at least 3840 pixels. The exact width and height vary with the post and aspect ratio; a 16:9 canvas, for example, can export at approximately 3840 × 2160 pixels.
Standard (2×) remains the default option. Choose it when you need a smaller file, or switch back to 4K from the same menu before your next export.
