Hey everyone! Back in October 2023, I kicked off this project on GitHub, and it's been awesome to see over a hundred new folks hopping on daily to share their tweet screenshots. Huge shoutout to all of you for using the tool—it means a lot!

💡 What's the Deal with TwitterShots?

The inspiration behind TwitterShots came from the buzz around the new iPhone launch. People were posting their order confirmations and sharing screenshots of each other's tweets. I tried a bunch of screenshot tools, but they either broke with Twitter's API updates or struggled with long threads. So, I thought, why not make a simpler tool for capturing those moments?

📸 How to Snap Tweet?

I love Twitter and wanted a quick way to grab a screenshot and make it share-worthy.

• Pasting URLs on some other site? Yawn.
• Browser extensions? Too many steps!

So, I came up with the idea of adding "shots" to the domain name for easy screenshotting. Then Elon rebranded Twitter to X, 😓 and here we are—just trying to keep things fun!

I've been listening to your feedback! Here's what's new:
