Why I built TwitterShots

I’m Kevin Wu, the founder and developer of TwitterShots.

I built the first version because I often needed to share X posts outside X. A raw screenshot took too much cropping and rarely looked right in a newsletter or on another social platform. I wanted a simple way to keep the post readable and make the image ready to share.

Today I keep building around that same problem. I listen to people using TwitterShots, improve the tools they rely on, and write guides based on real workflows. My vision is to make public ideas easier to preserve, present, and share, while being clear about what the product can and cannot do.
